Airbnb Superhost Status: The Benchmark of Excellence

We’re proud to share that several properties under Multiporpoise Management—including Sea Gypsy Rentals—have once again achieved Airbnb Superhost status. This recognition is reserved for hosts who consistently deliver top-tier guest experiences. While many Superhosts are smaller operators renting out a single space, maintaining this status across multiple units and different properties takes an even higher level of coordination and care.

It’s a win not just for our team, but also for the owners who entrust us with their properties. Without them, we wouldn’t have the opportunity to deliver the level of hospitality that earns Superhost recognition.

What it means to be an Airbnb Superhost

Airbnb re-evaluates Superhost status every quarter, and our managed properties have consistently maintained the designation. To qualify, properties must achieve:

  • An average 4.8+ guest rating (out of 5)
  • 90%+ response rate to guest messages
  • Fewer than 1% cancellations
  • At least 10 completed stays in the last year
superhost

This isn’t just a title—it’s proof that our teams and property owners are providing consistent, high-quality guest experiences.

Why does it matter?

Superhost status boosts visibility on Airbnb, builds traveler trust, and helps new guests discover properties like the Sea Gypsy and others in our portfolio. More importantly, it underscores what we already know: that hospitality done well leaves a lasting impression.

And while Airbnb is an important platform for travelers to discover these rentals, all of our properties—including the Sea Gypsy—also offer the option to book directly through their own websites. Booking direct typically means the same great stay, minus the platform fees, with the added benefit of working directly with the local team that manages the unit.

A shared accomplishment

Whether you’re staying at the Sea Gypsy or another property in our care, know that real people—not a faceless platform—are behind the experience. We’re proud to continue raising the bar for guest stays across the Oregon coast and beyond.
